SEQUENCING
Crown Packaging provides parts sequencing to the automotive industry. Sequencing is especially effective in helping automotive customers to minimize inventories and increase productivity.
Crown’s capabilities in providing sequencing services include the following:
- Ability to receive requirements via EDI or Internet
- Pick and pack or assemble parts to sequence
- Bar code scanning sequencing controls
- Labeling (e.g. AIAG controlled labels, security labels, 2D, 3D, etc.)
- Ability to transmit Advance Shipping Notices (ASNs) or other shipping paperwork via EDI or Internet
- Customized reporting per customer requirements
- Material handling equipment for any type of shipping container
- Experience with full truck loads and milk runs
- Contingency plans for machine/system failures
